Bloom was abandoned by her mother at birth, but thanks to her dad she never once felt unloved. When he is killed in a car wreck, leaving her without any close family, she spends a year mourning him. She feels as if her heart has been cut out of her chest and nothing is left but an empty hole that she doesn’t think will ever heal. Then one night after work she finds a wounded dog in the woods behind her house and takes him in, not realizing he’s more than just some stray dog but a wolf shifter, who happens to be her mate.

Pike is getting over the loss of his father by running full force away from his responsibilities. He’s getting ready to go back to face his new position as the Alpha of his pack when he catches the scent that can only belong to his mate.

When Bloom finds out she may not be the normal human she always thought herself to be, she’s forced to search out the woman who abandoned her at birth.

Who ends a story at 86%!!!!! I am so PISSED! I do NOT want a couple of chapters to the next book bc if it was good then I'm gonna get the next one. Secondly, I hate when authors put another book of their own or try to plug another author's book in the end. Every time, I am so mad that I NEVER read that book!!! Stop doing it!!! Now, on to the story, I could never figure out who was talking. Anyone else? I did enjoy the meat of the story, everything happens very fast! There is no sex and just a lot of talking. Just a tip, don't put both leading women with the same letter starting their names. It's just confusing sometimes.

Reviving Bloom Bloom Daniels Series Book 1 edition by Michelle Turner Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

The story is good, however, whoever typed this up for should not be allowed to type up any more books. There are way to many errors. As far as the story goes, it's a good story but I don't know any 25 year olds who say "Darlin". Not even ones from TN. The use of "Doll", "Darlin". etc was way over used in these books.
The plot in itself was fairly decent, and had it not been for the truly abysmal language this book could have been quite a good read. Unfortunately, it reads as if it hasn't been edited at all, and is full of small, but extremely annoying errors, e.g. "Set" instead of "sit", "here" instead of "hear", "threw the bond" instead of "through the bond", etc. The "hero's" middle name suddenly changes halfway through, without explanation.

The characters' personalities fall flat, and the heroine, especially, is surprisingly accepting of everything supernatural without a second thought. It's difficult to relate to any of them. The foundation for a good story is there, but because the language is poor and the characters are uninspiring, it just doesn't work.

On there is also a warning that the book contains "Graphic Language". Since the following is the most "graphic" section I can think of, I don't find a specific warning necessary
"It’s not their fault our mother is a … well you know. Some also refer to a female dog by the same term".
warning!spoilers. story was great!)bloom a.k.a blu is in disparity, her mother abandons her when she was born and her loving father dies.feeling hopeless she tries to hide herself in her dreams.one day a gorgeous, big wolf is trapped in one of the traps her father had set up.feeling a connection to this wolf she helps him.it turns out that the wolf shares a similar pain having killed his father for the pack.together they overcome their grief and create a new beginning for themselves.(ps,she has some wolf blood running through her blood inherited from her mother)
conspike(the wolf shifter) says "darling" in almost every sentence directed towards bloom.I would have preferred that the story ended with them mating and the next story about blooms friend,Bonnie.
prosthe plot was outstanding and I found myself smiling with the characters and pained, sharing their sorrow.
Great idea for a story. But it felt like I was reading a book written by a middle school student. Also I'm not one to complain about errors but this book was full of them. Also the ending was horrid. Can't believe I paid 3.99 for this half book.
Michelle Turner is most definitely one of my favorite authors. A lot of authors work is a little frigid but I found Michelle's to very very warm and smooth. From Reviving Bloom to the preview of her other books that are coming out in 2013 I am very sure that I will buy and enjoy all of her books.
Once I got to the end of Reviving Bloom I was disappointed to find that the second book in the Bloom Daniels Series, was not out yet. (As I wanted to continue reading.)
I do suggest this book to older teenagers as Bloom has a stalker after her during the period of the book. Bloom is on the verge of being raped two times and the second time, she kills him.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
Keep on Michelle!
I like the story line, but being brutally honest the way this was written leaves much to be desired. I hate stories that makes it seem like the inner wolf is a separate personality that speaks. That sound like and reads like schizophrenia. Plus he's an alpha wolf, leader of a pack, yet he cries when he thinks she might leave him. They didn't fight, no harsh words, he just cries at the thought. That's so weak. Plus the climax of this book is very weak and without. I know I've said weak two or three times, but it really is.
Overall I really liked this book. I loved the creativity with the names, seeing as they are definitely unique ones that I have rarely, if ever seen before. This was a really good story line, with some twists that I haven't seen in a shifter book. The book made me feel so sad for the main characters, while at the same time so happy to see that they found one another and were able to help with each others sadness. I really am looking forward to the next book in the series coming out, because I feel that it will just add to the already Blooming series. I do feel that the book would have been better with more background and description, but overall it is not bad and i still want to continue reading the series. Some of the more main characters, while we get to know them some, we don't really know them much. If there is one thing I can say about this book, it is that you have definitely left it at an interesting place to pick right back up and keep us interested enough to come back to see what happens.
